Periquest was the first horse that we purchased for £6000.00.

A lovely looking horse with a brilliant personality who loved life and tried his best in all his races.

The one thing that Peri was very good doing was jumping which helped him in all his races.

It was the most thrilling day when he won at Huntingdon.  Paddy Brennan rode.  With a very tight finish (which everyone thought we had lost, even the jockey did) and a few very nervous minutes, the announcement came over that we were triumphant.  The cheer was that great it was like we had won the Gold Cup!

After racing Peri was rehomed via Rowena and Fred Cook to a lovely home where he settled in very well.

After some time his new owners job was relocated to Australia and as Peri was such a lovely horse she asked if she could take him with her.

Peri is now enjoying life down under with more sun than he ever got here.
